  1. General information about booking a tour

Get Away Travel requests all Customers to read the full text of the terms and conditions carefully before booking a tour. By booking a tour from www.getawaytravel.ro, you (Customers) confirm that you are 18 years of age or older. You also confirm that all the details you provide to us in the context of the Get Away Travel Travel Services will be correct. You are fully responsible for any consequences resulting from your incorrect personal data.

Get Away Travel (Provider) provides certain travel services from www.getawaytravel.ro, which is considered a communication and payment system that enables the connection between Get Away Travel (Provider) and Tourist (Client).

  1. Our Services

The “Provider” offers tour packages to Romania, Bulgaria and other Balkan countries. “Provider and all partners and third-party services provided” will offer tourists (Clients) generic itineraries sold as packages in accordance with the laws of each country, and each of these packages has its own characteristics and specificities. Itineraries will be written all travel in English, contain services including and not including.

The “Provider” will provide tour guides or associated tour guides with full experience in Romania and other Balkan countries. Please note that the Supplier will not be responsible if the tourist attractions are closed for unforeseen reasons (private events, maintenance, etc.). The “Provider” would try to find or other option for the Customer, but the failure to fulfill these special options does not constitute the case of any claim against the Provider.

  1. Reservation and cancellation policy

The customer will carefully read the itinerary, final price and cancellation policy. By booking a tour, the Customer agrees to all terms and conditions:

For half-day or 1-day tours that do not include: Free cancellation with accommodation up to 24 hours before the start of the activity.

For trips of 2 days or more than 2 days that include accommodation:

If you cancel at least 7 days before the program departure, there is no cancellation fee.

If you cancel between 4 and 6 days before departure, a 20% cancellation fee is charged.

If you cancel within 3 days of your scheduled departure or No Show, there is a 100% cancellation fee.

Please do not email or call if you can cancel your reservation. If you do not receive or confirm your cancellation by email, please do not call. We are not responsible if your email message did not reach us.

  1. Payment

The provider uses a third party to process the online credit card payment. The Customer will submit the credit card information on the secure page sent by the Provider.

  1. Other information

The price of the trips does not include personal and luggage insurance, optional tours.

The supplier is not responsible for any incidental expenses such as visas, vaccinations and non-refundable.

The supplier may be obliged to cancel a tour exceptionally due to weather conditions or other circumstances. If the Provider cancels the tour, the Client may have the following options:

• full refund

• rescheduling the tour or a similar alternative tour

  1. Acceptance of risk and travel insurance

The customer must know and accept that all travel activities involve some personal risk and danger. By signing this agreement, the Customer clearly understands the Terms and Conditions and releases the Supplier, including its employees, guides or agents, from any cause or claim with respect to any legal action resulting from death, injury, damage or loss of of any kind which may happen to him or while participating in the tours or as a direct result of the active or passive negligence of any party, including the Supplier or any of its employees, contractors or delegate. The Supplier strongly advises the Customer to take care or ensure appropriate medicalconsider purchasing travel insurance of his choice, which must be valid for all gru members and travel period. Moreover, the Customer is fully responsible for taking care of all required arrangements regarding visa, passport, immigration documents, customs procedures, health and any other requirements of the countries visited or transited. In this regard, the Provider is not responsible if the Customer does not comply with these requirements.

Travel insurance should normally cover costs in the event of cancellation, medical and repatriation expenses, bodily injury, death, loss of luggage, personal effects, jewellery, money and valuables, personal liability, public liability, delayed flights , canceled and lost.

The Supplier shall not be responsible and shall have no obligation to reimburse the Customer, if the Customer, through its fault, misses the boarding or check-in times or if, for any reason, the Customer is not allowed to board in the specific means of transport (plane, train, bus, ship or any other type of motorized or non-damaged vehicle)

  1. Disclaimer and Force Majeure

In the event of any loss, damage or expense caused by a force majeure event, the Supplier shall not be liable to the Customer. These events are defined as unforeseeable circumstances beyond the Supplier’s or supplier’s control, such as: war or terrorist activities, threatened or actual civil unrest, riots, epidemics or disease outbreaks, adverse weather conditions, industrial action, fire, flood, drought. , natural or nuclear disasters, cancellations or changes to scheduled flights or other transportation due to unavoidable technical problems of machinery or equipment, power outages or any type of event beyond the Provider’s control. The consequences of all of the above, which could not have been prevented even with all the attention paid by the Provider or its suppliers, may be a delay or prolong the tour, forcing the modification of the pre-existing arrangements of the tour package or even its cancellation.

The total liability of Northfilon International SRL (referred to as www.getawaytravel.ro) arising from this Contract, will in no case exceed the total amount paid by the Customer to the Supplier.

  1. End of contract term

This Agreement shall become effective upon Customer’s written acceptance of Provider’s proposed offer and shall remain in effect until the end of the reserved services, unless terminated by either party.

The Providers reserve the right to revise and change these terms and conditions from time to time. In the event of significant changes to this agreement after a reservation has been made, the Provider will inform the Customer and agree to have the same terms and conditions that were valid at the time of the reservation.
